I took this photograph on Thursday, October 19, in our local supermarket in the Arab village across the road. This is what Hamas terrorists and their supporters do not want to see: an Arab woman and a Jewish man working together. The woman has a hejab; the man has a kippah. This is our reality in the Western Galilee, Israel. Jews, Muslims, Christians and Druze living together. This is Israel.

And it’s only because Israel is what it is—a liberal democracy founded on democratic principles—that people hate us. We are the only democratic, Jewish enclave in the world. We exist. We function. We are the start-up nation. We are the comeback kings. We revitalized our ancient language, Hebrew, and it is spoken by more than nine million people. We are creative, think-outside-the-box inventors who’ve given the world cell phones, drip irrigation and WAZE, among countless other inventions.
This isn’t a war against Israel and the Palestinians. If protestors cared for their Arab brothers, they would be out in force against the Syrian regime that killed 500,000 Arabs, where there are now 15 million Muslims in dire need of humanitarian aid.
This is a war against the Jews. This is a war against Israel. This is not a conflict. Islamic imperialism is is a threat as terrible as the Holocaust.
Zion is one of the many names of Jerusalem. Jerusalem became the capitol of the Jewish state 3000 years ago, during King David’s time, and remained its capitol for more than 1000 years.
Jews are indigenous to this land. Being anti-Zionist means denying the right of Jews to their homeland. If you somebody supports the right of other indigenous people to their land but denies such a right to Jews, that person is an anti-Semite.
If someone tells you they want to “free Palestine,” that person is an anti-Semite. Because that means they want to destroy the Jews here. It means they support the destruction of the Jews. It’s what has happened in every Arab nation. Islamic terrorists slaughtered so many of our people but we will not let it happen again.
Perfectly explained. Prayers for peace and safety.
